A Talent for Science
Ghillean Prance was accepted as a candidate for ordination in the Anglican church before realising that his talents in botany were a God-given gift that should be used. He never regretted his decision to stay in science, as he has been able to use his talents to the full. His faith informed his attitude towards conservation, and has helped him to learn from the Brazilians that he worked with.
