About the 'Test of Faith' project

There is a huge need for accessible materials on science and Christianity for everyone who is interested in these issues. With the Faraday Institute starting up at the beginning of 2006, this was the ideal opportunity to fill the gap.

After some initial research and development of trial materials by Ruth Bancewicz, a grant proposal was submitted to the John Templeton Foundation. This resulted in some pilot funding in February 2007, and Contrapositive came on the team to work up a proposal for the film.

In October 2007 the project really kicked off, supported by a grant from the Templeton Foundation, and filming and writing started. Research Assistant James Crocker joined in 2008, and the rest is history …

The Test of FAITH DVD, book and course materials are now available in the USA, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and other locations, with supporting materials online. Church service, youth, and schools resources are also available. Work is in progress on further online resources.
