About the Test of FAITH Project
The Test of FAITH homeschool course was written by Abigail McFarthing, in consultation with Dr Ruth Bancewicz (Test of FAITH Project Leader) and Dr Douglas Hayworth (American Scientific Affiliation).
Abigail McFarthing has worked in education in the US, South Africa, and the UK. A former homeschooler herself, she graduated with highest honors in English and Secondary Education from Wheaton College, Illinois. She has led church youth work for four years, and worked with young people with learning difficulties. She is also a worship leader and song-writer; you can listen to her album at abigailmcfarthing.bandcamp.com.
The homeschool course is largely original material, but includes excerpts from the existing Test of FAITH courses (with permission from the publishers). It combines the Christian basis of the Test of FAITH small group study material and the academic basis of the classroom resources.
